Tips and tricks for storing your squash and pumpkins
In order to properly store your squash, here are some recommendations:
- Have a temperate place between 10 and 18 ° C
- The room must have a humidity level between 40 and 70%.
- Make sure they don’t freeze
- Do not put them in the fridge (except when they are cut)
- Scatter them on a flat surface so they can breathe
- Check them every 3 weeks and quickly cook any that start to change
- Protect them from light (if possible, although this is not essential)
- Once the squash is cut, store it in the fridge. Squash can be frozen in cubes, grated or mashed, without blanching them!
