Tips and tricks for storing your squash and pumpkins

In order to properly store your squash, here are some recommendations:

  • Have a temperate place between 10 and 18 ° C
  • The room must have a humidity level between 40 and 70%.
  • Make sure they don’t freeze
  • Do not put them in the fridge (except when they are cut)
  • Scatter them on a flat surface so they can breathe
  • Check them every 3 weeks and quickly cook any that start to change
  • Protect them from light (if possible, although this is not essential)
  • Once the squash is cut, store it in the fridge. Squash can be frozen in cubes, grated or mashed, without blanching them!
